Florence de Beauregard is offering residential courses at her home in Farques-sur-Ourbise (mid-way between Bordeaux and Toulouse) in the Forêt des Landes in May and June, and September to mid October.
Her suggested itinerary at Rouméguère would be:
Arrival on Sunday afternoon, with departure the following Saturday morning and includes full board – six nights (accommodation = room plus bathroom en suite, breakfast, lunch and dinner, wine included). The cost for one person is 450 euros for the week from Sunday to Saturday. For 2 this would be 780 € for the couple for the stay from Sunday to Saturday. Families can also be catered for. The Course
All abilities accepted. Flo will give 3 hours of lessons a day plus activities (games) in French. Meals will be taken with her husband and herself and the conversation will be conducted in French.
The price for this package is 190 euros per person for five days from Monday to Friday. For the lessons it is necessary to have at least two people registered.
Free sport activities on site: Table tennis, swimming pool, badminton, bicycles, beach volleyball, bowling, billiards.

La Rouméguère is the perfect place to spend a week improving one’s French.
The setting is lovely in the Landes countryside and the accommodation is excellent.
Florence and Luc are splendid hosts and one is made to feel completely at home at all times.
We spent a very enjoyable week in May with them and were thoroughly spoilt with Florence’s delicious cooking and Luc’s excellent wine.
The main reason for our week at La Rouméguère was, of course, to improve our French.
Florence is a very good teacher and we enjoyed the morning classes and afternoon activities and excursions very much.
Our French immersion continued through into the evenings with entertaining conversation and much laughter around the kitchen table during dinner with Florence and Luc.
Our week of immersion in the French language was, of course, challenging but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend La Rouméguère.

We enjoyed a wonderful week on the French Immersion course at La Rouméguère. Florence and Luc are a lovely couple and straight away from our first hour with them drinking aperitifs and chatting by the pool we were made to feel very welcome.
Florence is an excellent and very experienced teacher. The formal structured sessions in the mornings and afternoons were very good and although we are at slightly different levels in French the classes worked very well for both of us. But conversing in French from breakfast through to bed-time was really beneficial. It was challenging but both rewarding and fun.
There was never a dull moment as additional activities such as walks, shopping in the local street market and, above all, a fantastic evening at the marché nocturne at Laverdac all added to the enjoyment of the course. And naturally there was time for swimming and relaxing by the pool.
La Rouméguère is a beautiful location providing spacious, comfortable and private accommodation surrounded by fields and forest. Florence is a really good cook. The meals with Luc joining us were great social occasions.
A truly memorable week. We left full of enthusiasm to further develop our French. And we are definitely looking forward to going back next year.
